Cardiac Rehab Registered – Granby – Part Time

Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse

Reports to:  Rehabilitative Services Director

Description:  Is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating cardiovascular patient care.  The Registered Nurse will integrate the components of clinician, teacher, consultant and researcher.  This position is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways and in accordance with the mission and values of MPMC.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado.
  • Specialized degree or certification in cardiovascular clinical area, i.e., coronary care, emergency care preferred.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Current ACLS
  • Demonstrated ability to perform necessary skills
  • Twenty-four months recent and relevant experience.

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant – Kremmling – Full Time & PRN

Certified Nursing Assistant 

Reports to:  Director of Inpatient Nursing

Description:  The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing care to the inpatient population within the CNA’s Scope of Practice, is responsible for the provision of basic nursing care to patients by maintenance of a safe and clean patient care environment.  The CNA participates as an integral member of the health care team to establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients, patient family members, health care team members, including observations and communication of information which contributes to optimal patient care and the achievement of desired and defined patient outcomes.

Requirements: 

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Licensed as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Colorado preferred (Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date).
  • Graduate from a State Certified Program for Nursing Assistants preferred.
  • Basic Life Support – BLS (or within 60 days of hire date).

Description: The Critical Care Technician delivers patient care as directed by the RN or Physician to provide safe and effective patient care by performing technical skills and tasks in accordance with hospital and/or department guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Graduate or state-certified EMT-B.
  • IV Certification required.

  • One year experience in clinical setting.

Diagnostic Imaging/CT Tech – Kremmling/Granby – Full Time

Diagnostic Imaging/CT Technologist

Reports to:  Diagnostic Imaging Director

Description:  The Diagnostic Imaging/CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general Xray procedures and CT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols.  Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.  Participates in maintaining positive department patient flow.  Available for on-call duties.

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Maintain current BLS certification (within 60 days from hire).
  • One year of radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
  • Maintains current RT/CT Certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
  • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

Dietary Assistant – Kremmling – Part Time

Dietary Assistant

Reports to: Dietary Manager

Description: Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Assistant will prepare appetizing food for the hospital patients as determined by the day’s menu. The Dietary Assistant assumes a role in the regulation of food production and designated matters as stated in this job description and in the absence of the Dietary Manager. Keeps records and transfers dietary theory into daily practice.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Maintain current BLS certification (within 60 days of hire).
  • Knowledge of food preparation and use of basic kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Ability to follow recipes, and make adjustments as needed for specific patient diet.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Reports to: Emergency Department Director

Description: The Registered Nurse providing care to the Emergency Department population is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from triage/admission to discharge/transfer utilizing accepted standards and protocols of emergency medicine including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or equivalent), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). The Registered Nurse is responsible for the achievement of most optimal patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Licensed as a professional Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing preferred.
  • 6 months Emergency Nursing experience or equivalent (desired).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred – required within 60 days.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred – required within 180 days.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred; or a combination of education and experience.  HR Generalist experience preferred.
  • Good communicator to be able to respond to inquiries from staff and applicants

Description:  The Lab Assistant is responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients (phlebotomy) and assisting the technical staff in performing certain laboratory tests.  In addition, the position may be responsible for other laboratory processes and administrative duties.  Must be available for on-call duties.

Requirements: 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days from hire
  • 1 year experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience in phlebotomy, infant to geriatric, wearing gloves

Description: The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic mammography procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Materials Management Clerk – Granby/Kremmling – Full Time

Materials Management Clerk

Reports to:  Finance Director

Description:  Materials Management Clerk is responsible for all aspects of the distribution functions including preparing supplies for distribution from Central Supply inventory, reviewing expiration dates on par level carts and areas, reviewing expiration dates on supplies in the general storeroom and will supply items needed in emergency situations. The MM Clerk will meet all infection control standards, picking and delivering supplies ordered by departments, counting and restocking par cart areas. The MM Clerk helps maintain the supply storage area for medical and office supplies. Materials Management Clerk assists the MM Coordinator with putting the warehouse supplies on the shelves daily. The MM Clerk works closely with the MM Coordinator and MM Director, as well as other department Directors, Staff, and Administration.

 Requirements:

  • Associates degree (or higher) in Business Management preferred

Description:  Provides surgical patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.  Functions as the Circulating Nurse to assist the OR in all surgical procedures.  Able to function independently as the team leader during surgical procedures.  Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.  Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and, as needed, about patient condition.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
  • Six months to one year nursing experience.
  • Maintain current BLS certification or within 60 days from hire.

Description: Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, the Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients. In addition, the position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of lab reports and requisitions, distributes reports, enters orders into the computer system and other department administrative functions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in office (medical/healthcare related preferred).
  • 1 year experience in phlebotomy, infant to geriatric (preferred).
  • Certification as a Phlebotomist by a nationally recognized board/agency (preferred).
  • Be able to speak additional languages other than English (preferred).
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Description: Social Worker is responsible for the coordination of quality patient care with members of the health care team, the patient, and/or significant others, beginning with pre-admission and continuing through post discharge. Coordinates resource utilization and discharge planning needs, adjustment to illness, end of life decision-making and emotional support. Is a liaison in networking patients and their families with community resources when deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology and one year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals.
  • LCSW or MSW required.
  • Pass and maintain Basic Life Support – BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to use computer for patient documentation and administrative work.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
